A look back at Da-Lite's Angles of Reflection Series
July 21st, 2010Over the years, Da-Lite has been a pioneer in providing educational and reference materials to its' dealers and customers regarding projection and screen technology. One of those series was "Angles of View", a series written from 1995 to 2001 by the late Kim Milliken. Angles of View was highly regarded as one of the most in-depth tutorials of all time covering projection screens and optics.

In 2007, Da-Lite bagan to pick up where Angles of View left off with a new series, entitled "Angles of Reflection". This new series was initially written by Blake Brubaker, Da-Lite's Vice President of Sales, with Adam Teevan, Da-Lite's Director of International Sales contributing starting in 2009.
Angles of Reflection started by refreshing the basics of projection technology and the projection environment, addressing commonly asked questions about the viewing cone, ambient light levels, image uniformity and contrast.
New issues in projection technology are now the topics of discussion. Video gaming, 3-D projection, the nuances of HD screens and ultra-bright projectors dominate the more recent issues of Angles of Reflection.
Angles of Reflection is published several times a year, and archives in PDF format are available online. For a complete index of the Angles of Reflection archives, click here.
