Motorized roller to be 1.6" diameter extruded aluminum. Channels and roller boxes to be aluminum custom extruded shapes, .090 wall, finished matte black. Masking fabric to be close woven fiberglass base textile with black vinyl film securely bonded to the outside: opaque, fire retardant, washable. System shall mask screen equally from top to bottom, closing symmetrically to a predetermined alternate format. Motorized roller shall oppose a spring roller, 1-3/4" dia., institutional quality, with heavy-duty spring, in one-piece steel roller. Masking fabric mounted to aluminum slat bar, finished matte black, and operated by two take-up straps of black woven polypropylene.
